Who is the composer of this? Or is it a traditional tune?
ReplyDeleteAnd what about this? A little changed?

Yes, It is a traditional tune. In fact it is a traditional tone 1. So many troparions and kontakions are sung based on this tune as well. This tune has many slight variations. Sometimes it is little changes in melody and sometimes the melody is sung, for example, by tenors rather then Altos. So you can find that different choirs perform it a little bit differently but the tune is definitely recognizable.
